This sweet and savory Honey Garlic Salmon is cooked to perfection for an easy healthy weeknight dinner. This dish comes together in 20 minutes!
If you’re looking for a quick, easy, healthy dinner, salmon is always the way to go. Although we prefer to purchase fresh salmon as often as we can; however, from time to time we do opt in for the ones in the freezer section.
When it comes to purchasing salmon, the best type to purchase is the King Salmon as it rich and comes in a hefty size.
If you can’t find the king salmon in your store, the next best version is the Wild-caught Pacific salmon, which are often considered to be the healthiest salmon o the market. You can get it “fresh” or from the freezer section.

Ingredients & Cooking Method
The full list of ingredients and exact measurements are listed in the recipe card.
For now, listed below are the ingredients you’ll need, a quick video and step-by-step guide to help you make this dish perfectly each time.
Ingredients:
Salmon. Instead of purchasing whole salmon, consider salmon fillets. Once cooked the salmon is finished with a sweet tender, delicious flavor. Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins.
Honey. Instead of using sugar as an option, substitute the sugar with honey. The honey will help the sauce come together and will balance out the salt.
Lemon Juice. We love lemon juice; we use it in almost every recipe where meat or fish is used. Especially in with our Haitian Recipes or in this Lebanese Falafel recipe.
Spices, herbs, and garlic. Instead of using the knife to mince the garlic, we used our mortar and pestle to smash the garlic. This helps to intensify the flavor. As this recipe uses dried parsley, fresh parsley is recommended and will make a world of difference in the recipe. Fresh parsley will provide a hint of freshness to the dish.
