    Air Fryer Oreos

May I indulge you with these fun Air Fryer Oreos? Are you salivating over these carnival fair staples? Are you ready to make them for the kiddos, or include them in your back to school lunch menu? Heck, even for yourself?  This recipe will give you the same result as the deep-fried Oreos you would purchase at the fair, but with a less “involved” method, fat, and calories. Eat and enjoy at your own risk!

    • Air Fryer Oreos

Savory Thoughts: “I love you like a fat kid loves cake!” ― Scott Adams

The savory quotes above say it all. This is always and always been a favorite of mine. Fried Oreos and Mexican street corn have always been special treats for me; and surprising ones too, as those who are not familiar with fried Oreos or have never made it are usually completely blown away after the first bite.

Why does this Air Fryer Oreo Work?

It gives you those warm feelings you often feel after purchasing a batch at the fair.

A great snack to include when meal planning for back to school lunch.

It’s quick and easy to make.

The entire family can pitch in and help.

    Surprising Oreo treat.

They are so FUUUUUNNNN to eat! 🙂

Ingredients to make Air Fryer Oreos

    • Ingredients to make air fryer Oreos

To be honest all you need are three things: Oreos, butter, and Puff Pastry Sheets. That’s it! I like to sprinkle powdered sugar on top. This is totally up to you.

As good as these air fryer Oreos are, I definitely would not recommend eating them every day for health purposes. Again this is a fun treat for you to enjoy with your family.

How to make Fried Oreos in the Air Fryer

    • How to make Fried Oreos in the Air Fryer

Take one Oreo and place it on the puff pastry. Cut out the circle (be sure to give it a little more room as you will need them later to cover the bottom) or use a pizza cutter to help with this method. Once you cut the circular pastry out, use it to cut the other pieces you will need for the rest of the cookies.

A large cookie cutter works great for cutting out the dough as well.

If you need to store leftover ones, I recommend a zip lock bag and put them in the refrigerator. I would not advise you to exceed 24 hours. Once the cookies are out of the fridge, reheat them in the oven for a few minutes on 350 degrees. With that being said, If you are going to make these I recommend making a few at a time to avoid wasting a large quantity.

I hope you enjoy this super fun air fryer oreo recipe and I definitely would love to know if you made them. Tag me on Instagram or Facebook and please give it a star rating below!
