Refresh your morning routine with these air fryer pancakes. These pancakes are light and fluffy, making them the perfect weekend breakfast!
Everyone with a sweet tooth loves to bite on some pancakes, but they can be time-consuming to make since you have to make the batter, worry about the texture and fluffiness, and think about the round shape.
However, all these worries can be set aside when you opt for air fryer pancakes, as they turn out perfectly.
No need to worry about standing for a long period of time to prepare pancake batches one after another.
About These Pancakes
As the name suggests, the air fryer pancakes are made by pouring the pancake batter into the air fryer.
However, contrary to the usual belief that no extra dish is needed, it is better to use a nonstick mold in the fryer for making pancakes to ensure the cleaning is easier.
All in all, when you add the pancake batter, cook the pancakes until golden brown.
What’s So Unique About It?
These pancakes are very convenient, and you don’t need to worry about cleaning at all. Even more, the pancakes come out light yet fluffy, promising zero frustration of making “bad” pancakes.
Not to forget, there are low chances of you burning the pancakes as the temperature and timing are always controlled in the air fryer.
Ingredient Notes
All-Purpose Flour: The base of the pancakes. All-purpose gluten free flour will also work.
Baking Powder & Baking Soda: Used to elevate the pancakes.
Salt: Is used to balance out the sweetness.
Granulated Sugar: Adds sweetness to the batter.
Cinnamon Powder: Adds depth of flavor.
Optional Toppings: Top your pancakes with fresh fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.
Feel free to add walnuts and lots of maple syrup or strawberry syrup. Feel free to top your pancakes with whatever you’d like!
First, you will always get the fluffiest pancakes in the air fryer, and you always have the option of reheating them in the air fryer.
As far as the health benefits are concerned, pancakes made from whole wheat are loaded with fiber which helps maintain blood sugar levels.
In addition, they provide an array of vitamins, minerals, and carbohydrates, promising a great health experience. But hey, don’t go high on syrups, chocolate, and cream!
On the other hand, when you serve them with fresh berries, it will only enhance the health standards. Having said that, always opt for healthy sides to make sure you enjoy a healthy experience.
How To Make It
Whisk all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
Spray the pan with olive oil spray. Pour the mixture in the tray and “bake” at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Which Air Fryer To Use?
Depending on the air fryer you have, the temperature may vary. For traditional round air fryers, you may consider reducing the heat to 325 degrees.
We have the Emeril Lagasse air fryer air fryer; therefore, the tray works well.
How To Store Air Fryer Pancakes?
When it comes down to storing the air fryer pancakes, it is possible to put them in an airtight container and put them in the refrigerator for two to three days.
However, keep in mind that you will need to reheat the pancakes, and it’s best to use an air fryer for reheating as it’s better at retaining the texture and flavor.
What To Pair With Air Fryer Pancakes?
The air fryer pancakes are absolute treats for people who want a healthy yet sweet breakfast.
