Orange Infused Water In pitcher With oranges slices

This orange infused water with mint is perfect for hot summer days. If you haven’t made your own homemade infused water, now it’s the time. This flavored water is not only refreshing, it will also quench your thirst.

    • orange and mint in tall glass with slices of oranges on cutting board

Plain water is always great for you, but can be a bit boring (sorry water lovers :)). But some of us struggle with consuming the recommended daily amount of consumption.

Infused water is a great way to make sure you are taking giving your body the fluid it needs, plus extra vitamins at the same time.

    Ingredients

    1 large orange; sliced

    8 fresh mint leaves

    2 ½ cups water

    • Ingredients

Wash and slice the orange. Place the orange slices in the pitcher. Add the mint leaves. Then add the water.

Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.

    Benefits of Orange infused water

The orange flavored water allows you to naturally consume more vitamins and nutrients.

Provides a citrus taste to plain boring water.

    It increases your vitamin intake.

Helps to maintain a healthy immune system.

May help to lower cholesterol among other health factors.

Oranges are an excellent source of vitamin C. Which means you are just drinking plain water.

Helps to increase your natural water intake.

May boost your energy and metabolism.

    Orange Water Pro Tips

    Use oranges and mint leaves.

The longer the water is in the refrigerator, the better it will taste.

Bruising herb leaves will lead to a stronger infusion.
