Savory Thoughts: Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. – Charles R. Swindoll

Why does this Pina Colada Mocktail recipe work?

If you are a Pina Colada lover, like I am, then you’ll also enjoy this virgin Pina colada just as much as the cocktail version.

Since the beginning of the year, this drink has become my go-to quick fix when I want to take a breather from every day life.

So, if you are looking for a way to enjoy a delicious tropical drink but don’t want the “buzz” from the alcohol, this is the drink to have.

It’s perfect for Mother’s Day, girl’s day, brunch, or even if you simply want to enjoy a quiet evening to yourself.

It takes no time to prepare this drink. Simply mix, shake, pour and enjoy.

How to make virgin coco colada?

Just like the signature cocktail, you will need two main ingredients:  pineapple (or pineapple flavor ingredient) and coconut. So, to make this quick drink I went to my local grocery store and picked up pineapple juice and cream of coconut.

    • Ingredients to make Pina Colada Cocktail

You will need the following ingredients listed below:

    Milk – I used 1 percent milk.

Pineapple juice – purchased from the grocery store. but homemade pineapple juice will work just as fine.

Coconut cream – you will find this in the drinks section, or bar section if your grocery store it. It is near the margarita mix or pina colada mix.

Ice – crushed or cubed ice will work for this recipe.

    Other refreshing drinks to enjoy:

    Blueberry Smoothie With Almond Milk

    Pineapple Banana Smoothie

    Carrot Ginger Apple Juice

By all means, feel free to add your favorite rum to make this drink go from family – kid friendly to adult only :). Whatever you decide, relax and enjoy!
