Green Beans With Sautéed Onions And Garlic

Super easy to prepare the dish. Thes green beans are served as a side and have excellent flavor from both the garlic and onions.

  • 1 1 ½ lbs fresh green beans trimmed
  • 5-6 garlic cloves sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add green beans and let it cook for 5 minutes. Remove and add the beans in cold iced water to stop the cooking. Drain and set aside.
  • Place sauce-pan on medium high heat, sauté the garlic and onions together until they start to become golden in color.
  • Add the green beans and season with salt and pepper. Continue stirring for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove and serve warm as a side.


The beans are great with salmon and can accommodate any meat of your choice.
