Green Beans With Sautéed Onions And Garlic

Super easy to prepare the dish. Thes green beans are served as a side and have excellent flavor from both the garlic and onions.

  • 1 1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans trimmed
  • 5-6 garlic cloves sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add green beans and let it cook for 5 minutes. Remove and add the beans in cold iced water to stop the cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. Place sauce-pan on medium high heat, sauté the garlic and onions together until they start to become golden in color.
  3. Add the green beans and season with salt and pepper. Continue stirring for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove and serve warm as a side.
