Air Fryer Grilled Chicken Fajita Skewers

These easy Air Fryer Grilled Chicken Fajita Skewers will have you dancing in your kitchen. They are super delicious and incredibly easy to make. They are made with a homemade fajita spice mix. Grilled to perfection in the air fryer. Perfect for a gluten-free diet, ketogenic if you substitute the vegetable oil with coconut oil, and Whole-30 diets.

  • 1 lb. Chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice or lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 Orange bell pepper
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 large Red onion
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika


  • Wash, pat dry, and cut the chicken into small size – bite size pieces set aside in a bowl.
  • Add all of the dry ingredients and the vegetable oil to the chicken.
  • Mix well and allow to sit for 30 minutes to marinate or overnight.
  • While the chicken marinates, cut the vegetables and set aside. 
    Using air fryer skewers or skewer sticks of your choice, thread chicken first, then followed by the vegetables. Alternate between the chicken and vegetables. Or, use a pattern of your choice. 
  • Place the threaded chicken skewers in the air fryer basket, and cook for 8 minutes on 360 degrees. Serve warm with cilantro and lime or lemon wedges.
