Toast the bread lightly. Set aside. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and salt together. Whisk well. Dip the bread into the mixture. Then place the bread in the heated buttered skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Repeat the process. Serve warm with your favorite syrup and fruits. Enjoy! Place in the oven to keep the french toast warm while you finish the other toasts.
