Add the water and salt in a bowl. Stir. Set aside.
Peel the plantains.
Sliced the plantains in even slices. Best to use a mandolin.
Add the plantain slices to the salted water, let soak for about 5-10 minutes.
Transfer to the air fryer. Spray with olive oil, cook for 12 minutes, shaking and spraying with oil in between cooking. Increase the time for desired crispiness. Sprinkle with lemon or lime juice (optional). Enjoy!
