Wash and pat dry the squash with a cleaned paper towel.Trim off a thin slice off each end of the squash. Then cut the squash lengthwise (in two halves).Place one of the halves in the air fryer basket, facing up. Then drizzle or spray with the oil. Evenly sprinkle the salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning all over the squash.
Cook at 360° F for 10 minutes face down and turn the squash over, and cook face up for 10 minutes, or until a fork can easily fluff up the inside of the squash. Season again (if needed) and repeat the process with the other half. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
If you are having difficulties cutting the squash. Wash the squash first, then microwave it for 5-8 minutes. This will soften the skin. I recommend poking the squash with a knife a few times so it does not burst open in the microwave. When printing the recipe, please unselect the camera icon so that the pictures are NOT printed with the recipe (if preferred).Calories are estimated per serving.
