Ripe Papaya Juice

Papaya juice is one of the many succulent pleasures of Haiti. While many other countries have several different versions, this one is as simple as it is sweet and savory.

Ingredients

  • ½ Papaya Peel, halve, seed, and cube one half of the papaya. Cut the cubes into ¾ - inch cubes.
  • 1 Cup Vanilla Almond Milk Unsweetened
  • Pinch Of Salt Or ¼ Tsp.
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice Fresh
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ½ Cup Maple Syrup
  • Crushed Ice Optional

Instructions

  • Peel, halve, seed, and cube one half of the papaya. Cut the cubes into ¾ - inch cubes. Then add it to the blender.

  • Then add the almond milk, salt, maple sirup, lemon juice, and vanila extract.
    You may add milk to thicken it; but this is completely optional.
    Blend to a smooth consistency.

Notes

For this recipe, I would recommend getting the green papaya with an orangy amber hue for optimum flavor and softness to make this papaya juice.
