Quick and easy air fryer roasted acorn squash that's perfectly prepared every time. Enjoy a simple roasted acorn squash recipe as a side dish, fall soup, or in salads.
Rinse, dry, and cut acorn in half. See my method in the post to easily cut the acorn squash.
Remove the seeds. Cut the squash into desired pieces or slices. Place the pieces in a bowl.
Pour the melted butter over the squash, then add the honey, and salt. Mix well to combine. Then place the squash pieces into the air fryer basket, reserving the honey butter mixture for later use if desired.
Roast on 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Base with the remaining honey butter mixture if necessary in between cooking. Serve warm and enjoy.

A good chef’s knife is a must to cut the squash as it is tough.
Is the skin on an acorn squash edible? Yes, you can eat the skin on the acorn squash and almost any squash as it is as delicious.
Roasted Acorn Squash can last in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Do not discard the seeds, use them to roast and enjoy as a snack.
Instead of using honey, maple syrup is also a good substitute for roast acorn squash.
To make prep easier, try to buy the pre-cut squash if you can find it at your local store.
