This gorgeous dessert is perfectly mixed to a smooth consistency, baked to perfection, provides the right quantity of crunch in the Oreo crust and with the added sliced almond, and layered perfectly with the right amount of chocolate frosting and strawberries. This dessert was quickly put together when I needed to satisfy our sweet taste buds. The finished product was so tasty and addictive. If you’re a chocolate and Strawberries lover, then this is for you!
To make this delicious cheesecake, you will first start with the BEST Pie crust! It involves Oreo Cookies; which in my opinion is the BEST Oreo pie crust ever! To make this epic Oreo Cookie Crust, I rely on my Hamilton Beach (similar here) processor to do the tough job for me.
In a kitchen aid mixture (or any electronic mixture), mix the cream cheese, salt, and sugar to smooth consistency. Slowly add 1 egg - allow it to incorporate well, then add the vanilla extract before adding the other egg. Remove the bowl from the stand, and lightly fold in the sliced almonds. Set aside.
Make the Oreo Cookies Pie Crust.
Pour the cheesecake mixture into the pie crust.
Bake the cheesecake for 35 minutes. Then leave the cake in the oven with the door closed for 1 hour. Afterward, transfer to the refrigerator and allow setting for a few more hours before serving.
Oreo Cookies Pie Crust
In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies to very fine crumbs.
Then add slowy add the butter until well incorporated.
Lightly spray the pie pan, and press the crumbs down into the bottom of the pi plate including the sides.
Refrigerate until the crumbs set.
