This Carrot Ginger Apple Juice – There are days when my body is practically begging for something fresh, bright, and energizing — and this Carrot Ginger Apple Juice always comes through for me.
I started making this juice during a short break from morning coffee a few years ago, and honestly… this simple blend gave me the same “let’s-go” feeling without the crash.
It’s naturally sweet from the apples, creamy from the carrots, and has that warm little kick of ginger that wakes up your whole system.
If you’re craving something refreshing, nourishing, and ridiculously easy to make, this juice might just become your new morning ritual too.
Why This Carrot Ginger Apple Juice Works
What I love most about this juice is how each ingredient plays a purpose — nothing is here just for flavor.
Carrots: the glow-up ingredient
Carrots bring a gentle sweetness and velvety texture, but they’re also packed with beta-carotene, which supports glowing skin, eye health, and overall immune protection. When blended, carrots help create that smooth, creamy finish we love in fresh juices.
Ginger: the warm, soothing kick
A little ginger goes a long way. It adds warmth, brightness, and a natural “wake-up” feel. Ginger is known to support digestion, reduce inflammation, and ease bloating — all the things we appreciate first thing in the morning.
Apples: natural sweetness + hydration
Apples balance the ginger perfectly. They’re hydrating, refreshing, and provide natural sweetness without any added sugar. Apple juice blends beautifully with carrots, giving the drink a smooth, crisp flavor.
Together, these three ingredients create a nourishing juice that tastes fresh, bright, and incredibly alive.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Carrots – peeled and chopped into chunks
- Ginger – peeled; add more if you love it spicy
- Apples – use what you love: Honeycrisp for sweetness, Granny Smith for tang
- Water – to help blend smoothly
- Optional flavor boosters:
- Lemon or lime (brightens everything)
- Orange juice (for extra citrus sweetness)
- Pineapple (for tropical vibes)
- Turmeric (adds antioxidants)
- Spinach (for a green juice twist)
- Mint (super refreshing)
You can mix and match these based on your mood — the base juice is flexible and delicious either way.

Equipment
Ingredients
- ½ cup water; add more if needed
- 1 large apple
- 1 large carrot about 3 oz
- 1 inch fresh ginger peeled, optional
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Prep the produce: Wash, peel, and chop the carrots, ginger, and apples into medium-sized pieces. No need for perfect cuts, just small enough to blend.Add everything to the blender: Start with the water at the bottom, then add the carrots, apples, ginger, and any optional add-ins you’re using.Blend until smooth: Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until everything looks smooth and bright.
- Strain (optional): If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer, cheesecloth, or nut-milk bag.If you like texture and fiber, enjoy it as is — this also makes it more filling.Chill and enjoy: Serve over ice or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes for an extra refreshing sip.*** Use a fine-mesh over a pitcher and pour in the juice, Stir with a spatula or spoon until the liquid has run through. The solids will remain the sieve. Pour the juice into a glass and serve with ice cubes. Enjoy!

Pro Tips for the Perfect Juice
- Adjust the ginger to your preference. Start with a small piece — you can always add more.
- Use cold apples for a naturally chilled juice.
- Double the recipe and store in airtight glass bottles for up to 48 hours.
- No straining = more fiber. This turns your juice into a loaded, nutritious drink that keeps you fuller longer.
- Add lemon or lime if you want a brighter, more citrus-forward flavor.
- If using spinach, add it at the bottom of the blender so it blends smoothly.
Variations (Fun Ways to Customize)
You can elevate the flavor with any of these optional variations:
- Carrot Ginger Apple + Orange: citrus-forward and so refreshing

Wendy says
Hello I tried this today using a juicer( 1 carrot, 2 Fuji apples, inch of ginger) After putting those through the juicer I mix a cold 1/2glass of water and a tap of honey- ginger is too strong for me… lol…. I poured the mixture back and forth from glass to glass so it could mix well…I’m happy over here! This was a treat to myself after doing 16oz of celery juice for 7 days straight.
Mirlene says
Hi Wendy! So glad you were happy. Yes, ginger can be a bit strong. The juice is amazing. I have not tried the celery juice. WHEW 7 days straight. Major props to you. I’m so glad that this drink turned out to be a good alternative. Thanks for sharing your experience. Now I have to look at the celery juice. Wish me luck 🙂
